Frédéric
Bruly Bouabré
Ever since "the sky opened before his eyes" on March 11, 1948, Frédéric
Bruly Bouabré - "Cheik Nadro* the Revealer" - has been tirelessly
pursuing a multiform career of writer, poet, storyteller, researcher
and graphic artist. He has committed himself to his mission of illuminating
the causes and reasons of all things, of recording and passing on the
knowledge of the world to the world. Born in 1923 at Zéprégühé,
in Bété Land, Frédéric Bruly Bouabré
lives and works in Abidjan and Zéprégühé,
Ivory Coast.
And so, for this turn of the century edition, we decided to offer point
d'ironie to our friend Frédéric Bruly Bouabré,
the wise man of Africa, whose drawings, some of them done specially
for the occasion, we found truly delightful.
